A: Both! If you want a stress-free morning at your venue, hotel, or home anywhere in New Hampshire or New England, our team travels directly to you. If you prefer to kick off the day in the salon, you can bring your wedding party to our Manchester space, relax, play your own music, and enjoy a private pampering atmosphere before heading to your venue.
Q: Why are bridal trials required, and when should I schedule mine?
A: Your wedding day is not the time for hair surprises! A trial gives us a zero-pressure space to test your dream look, adjust for your veil or hair accessories, and see how the style holds up throughout the day. We recommend booking your trial 2 to 3 months before your wedding, ideally paired with your dress fitting or engagement photo shoot so you get double the mileage out of your hair!
Q: What if I or my bridal party have alternative, short, or textured hair?
A: You’ve come to the right place. We don’t do cookie-cutter bridal hair. Whether you’re looking for romantic boho waves, a sharp textured pixie, a razor-cut shag updo, or high-definition natural curls, our stylists specialize in customizing styles that feel authentic to you — not a copy-paste Pinterest photo.
Q: How many people in my wedding party can you accommodate?
A: We regularly handle everything from intimate elopements to large bridal parties! Depending on your group size and your "ready-by" time, we assign multiple Mode stylists to your wedding so no one feels rushed and your timeline stays completely on track.
Q: How should my bridal party prep their hair before the stylists arrive?
A: Clean, bone-dry hair washes out curls and updos! We ask everyone to wash and blow-dry their hair the evening before (unless we’ve specifically instructed a curly guest otherwise). Arrive on wedding morning with dry hair, a button-down or zip-up shirt (so you don't ruin your style when changing into your dress), and your inspiration photos ready!
Q: How do we secure our date with the Mode team?
A: Dates — especially peak New England wedding months (May through October) — fill up fast. Once you submit a bridal inquiry and we confirm our team's availability for your date, a signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit will lock in your date.
