Intuitive Paint Pouring with Melissa

Come paint with us in a different kind of paint class where you use a colander as a tool instead of paint brushes to create a unique, one of a kind, abstract masterpiece. This class is for beginners on up. There can be some anxiety for some when you aren't an "artist" and you attend one of these classes. I know I've been there! To help with that I will be starting the class with a mindful, focusing technique that will help bring you to the present moment and allow you to intuitively let the paint flow organically for you. You will choose colors of your choice to be poured into your small colander that is placed on your 8x10 canvas and watch the design unfold. The next step is where you make it your own. You will be shown and guided as to how to ever so slightly tilt and move your canvas so the paint reaches the edges without completely losing the design the colander has created. The piece will be wet for 24 hours so at your convenience you will come back to pick up your piece.
